Fairly Cakes are easy to make and very versatile for kids parties or just for a treat.
To make our cupcakes we use the following simple ingredients, although first pre-heat the oven to 180c.
Fairy Cake Recipe
- 140g Caster sugar
- 140g Butter
- 140g Self raising flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
Simply mix the butter and sugar together until you have a creamy mixture and then add the rest of the ingredients, mixing together until blended well. Next, place some fairy cake cases into a 12 cup fairy cake tin and divide the mixture between them. There should be enough mixture for 24 cupcakes, so if you don’t have more than one then simply leave half the mixture aside for now.
Place the cupcakes in the oven for around 10-12 minutes and then leave on a wire rack to cool If you only used have the mixture then divide once more and bake the rest of the cupcakes.
Finally, you either decorate as you wish when cool, or eat plain.
