Joe Anderson We ate at this nice little traditional english pub two nights in a row when staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel, near Heathrow Airport.
This fantastic little pub certainly catches you by surprise, given that it’s almost in the middle of a busy motorway hub which is surrounded by fast travelling vehicles and some rather large hotels, however as soon as it catches your eyes you’ll want to venture inside.
It has to be said that we were very pleased with the food on offer, with a wide range of pub grub for both children and adults. The staff where even happy to provide a child’s sized pasta for us on the second night when our kids requested it, even though it was not on the menu.
Overall the portion sizes were very generous, with the vegetable curry being one of the nicest I’ve ever tasted, coming with extra sides and also looking very appetising to the eye. It was great value too.
If we ever go back to this area we will most certainly visit The Plough again.
