Chocolate Bark Recipe

Making chocolate bark is one of the simplest things ever and it tastes amazing, especially since you can add any ingredient that you usually enjoy with chocolate or even just experiment.

Chocolate Bark Recipe

Main Ingredients

  • 100g Quality dark chocolate
  • 100g Quality milk chocolate

Line a deep 20cm baking tray with greaseproof paper.

Melt the chocolate slowly by breaking into small pieces and placing in a glass bowl. Sit the glass bowl on a pot of simmering water and stir until melted. Alternatively, put the small pieces into a microwaveable bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between until completely melted.

Now the fun part. Pour the melted chocolate into the tray and then place whatever you like on top. In the pictures above we used various ingredients, such as broken up kitkats, pretzels, mixed nuts, peanut butter mixed with butter, vanilla extract and icing sugar. You can add whatever you like, be it broken up oreos, fruit or marshmallows. Whatever takes you fancy really.

Once you have the topping of your choice, sprinkle them on top of the chocolate and then leave in the fridge to set. Once set, break into pieces and leave in the fridge until ready to eat.
