Healthy All Oat Flapjacks with Dark Chocolate | Recipe

Healthy flapjacks don’t need to taste awful, so I’ve been experimenting to try and find a good balance between healthy and tasty and may have come up with a good compromise in these all oat flapjacks.

Before we start pre-heat your oven to 180oC.

Ingredients

  • 150g Oats (blended to powder)
  • 150g Oats
  • 50g Honey
  • 35g Maple Syrup
  • 60g Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tbs Mixed Seeds
  • 30g Dark Chocolate

These are so simple to make. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients together and then place in a baking tray, flattening the mixture until it is even and square. This way you can make the flapjacks as thin or thick as you like.

With this recipe, I filled about 3/4 of the tray with the mixture and left the rest empty, as the mixture does not melt but just bakes.

Once you have followed the above instructions just bake until golden brown, leave to cool and then slice into servings. So easy and simple.
