A twist on the Flapjack, these refined sugar free Chocolate Oat Bars are so moreish that you won’t be able to stop at one and with no butter too, they are even healthier than you’d expect.
To start, pre-heat the oven to around 160c.
They look good, don’t they?
Ingredients
- 250g Jumbo Oats
- 90g Honey
- 90g Maple Syrup
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 125ml Vegetable Oil
The flapjacks don’t take long to make at all but I do use a little technique of half blending the jumbo oats, which gives the flapjack a more brownie consistency when baked, while still having a little bite.
Once you have finished with the blending, mix all the ingredients together, put the mixture in a brownie tin and bake for around 15-20 minutes until the mixture looks firm. Leave to cool and slice into around 12 fingers.
These are so delicious and since they are quite healthy you can maybe even eat more than one.
